After sitting down and having a chat with the missus about finances and such, I've come to a compromise regarding my exhaust. The original plan was to go for a sutom made system from a company recommended by Phil, but I've been told that as I'm already planning on spending quite a lot on other things I'm not allowed a full system. My question is simple:

'Universal' backboxes: Will I lose power by fitting one? (It's only a stop gap until I get my next pay rise...or I've paid a bit more off my credit card!)

Its not possible to lose power over the standard box as they are quite restrictive by design ..but when you consider the price of the average back box on line you wont be spending a great deal more on a complete system any way ..which company were you thinking of have the system made by ?
