bad news for me today. My 1.9 JTD 80 failed on NCT test . As soon as I've seen the face of the technician I knew it's not good. Many thinks he said .
from little glitches like rear lamps too bright which is easy to fix
through worn anti-roll bar bushes and links,
worn rear axle ans Wishbone bushes on both sides
to failed smoke test.
the results are more than 2 times the limit. 6.750/m (3.00/m)

funny enough that most of the readings (except smoke) are better than 2 years ago and I haven't done anything to the car in 2 years.

Could you give the rough idea how much the repair could cost?
I know that the smoke is hard to tell, the car has almost 150K (miles) on clock and smokes a lot. turbo is whining (and it was 2 years ago as well).
