Re: engine managment light
Not good on electronics but I think I saw something on the erg valve on the jtd some where ..this is situated low down in the engine compartment and gets soaked when we have heavy rain ..and if thats the problem then fiting it up on the battery tray solves the problem I believe.. some of the jtd owners will come along and confirm or denigh this I'm sure..

And this without even having a GSR kit on. ;D

I think you mean the overboost valve Phil. It is located low down on the front panel and moving it higher up does solve the problem! The EGR valve is located at the back of the engine. ;)

Re: engine managment light
yeah if your problems directly relate to wet rainy days then i would look at the overboost valve. relocating isnt too difficult and if the problem persists then replacing is even easier.

Re: engine managment light
Dave is spot on IMHO - it's almost certainly the overboost valve, had the same problem myself not long after getting my car.
If you take it back to the dealer and ask them if the overboost valve has been relocated on your car - if not I think it's a Fiat technical advice item and it should be done FOC.
Well, mine was.
Even if they say no, it's an easy thing to DIY 8)
