    Hi
    has anybody had the problem of the passenger door deadbolt failing to dissengage and not being able to open the door?
    is there anything we can do to fix this?

    Right, few things you can try here buddy.. not sure if they will work but woth a try...

    Put the key in the nearside front door and try left, left, right. If not try right, right, left apparently it resets the deadlock.

    Other than that, other discussions have said its a failed latch that isn\'t working so you may need it replacing - which isn\'t meant to be too dear.. I would defo try with the reset of the deadlock system first though

    To get your door open, try this:

    Sit in the car, lock with remote key fob, pull passenger (inside) door handle, then lock with remote again. Repeat this until the fob stops responding, then stick key in ignition start car, stop car, remove key and repeat the process until the door finally opens.
