Hi to everyone!
I love my stilo but I am so disappointed because of the airbag failure.
Anyone has any Idea how to fix this problem.
Everything else is so cool but this airbag failure is pissing me off.
Stilo is grate!

it is just a light that has come up?
If so you have to take back to the dealer, it will be either.
airbag ecu fault
seatbelt pretensioner
airbag wiring fault
in any case once the part is replace the airbag ecu needs to be reset and not many people have this equipment so again 30mins labour charge to reset the airbag ecu.
What is a 30min labour charge?
Yes the light is coming up.......and the dealer said that probably is the sensor under the passenger sit. He did something with the plugs but he did not reset the ECU. Airbag warning is stil on!!!!!
Can I reset myself the ECU? Disconnecting the battery
Does the CD-radio will need the code???
be bout 30 quid mate ;)

Fiat have now replaced part of the airbag wiring harness and this incorporates a new type of connector under the seats ..I take it you have tried unplugging and reconnecting the connectors before you go to fiat ? it quite often works ..dirty connectors are usually the problem ..new connector /harness around the £30 mark I believe ;)

I was close then! :)
I did try everything my self, but the light and the warning is still on.
I have to take it to the dealer.
The thing is that I don't want to change the sensor if could be something else ....causing the error.
Unplugging the Battery for a few hours will reset the board computer? Do I need the key and CD codes again?
OK lets look at you problems one at a time ..
I personally have never had a problem with the radio code when disconnecting the battery but you will need to reset the time and clock off your controls on the right of the steering wheel also If you get the ecu read for the fault codes it possibly my not be connector related but could possibly be the seat sensor in the passenger side seat know as the OCS sensor ..[see guide] so if you can't get the airbag light to go out the problem could be that and the light wont go out until its replaced .. >:( the part here in the UK is around the £100 GDP and going by the guide looks quite easy to do ..but I would get the fault codes read first because if its not then it will save you some considerable cash out lay ..hope that helps :)
