the gsr kits used to be pretty good, mine was fine, he must be using a lower quality silicone or just less of it too save money, because they really shouldnt collapse like the alfa one did.
im defo going with the 'making your own' option though, sounds like alot of fun, i like being creative.
you never no, may be able to get some one to build them. FS-OC in house induction kits

best way IMO to get power outa a 1.2 is take it out and replace it with 2litre or 2.4

or a bit of weight reduction. Get rid of that spare and the toolkit - that will save you a few kg's.

Have seen the benefits of taking out the seats, etc for performance, but personally I'd rather keep my car practical.
As for the engine swap idea, it'd be cheaper to just get an Abarth, which I may actually do when I pay off my finance ;)
For RGZ though, it'll be either induction/exhaust next and maybe a remap to bring things together. Thinking of tackling my brakes next though, I think they may be on their last legs :(
