oh right so you drive it flat out down the road come back load the map and repeat the same process and see if you can feel a difference?

Re: 1.4 Remap via AngelTuning
Best bet would be to get it rr'd before the remap and afterwards. I'm not that bothered as its not about getting x amount of extra bhp. I know how the car handles now and will see if I consider there are any differences after the remap. Certainly not scientific, but I can gauge mpg differences at the very least (making a note of what is consumed at what speeds, etc).

Thats the best way mate, theres no points seeing a load of numbers on a screen or print out if you cant Feeeeeeeeeeeeel the difference.

should have told you guys this: mate of mine got his 2008 Seat Ibiza FR 130bhp with 1500miles on it remapped by Torquetronix last year to 195bhp, a week later BANG! turbo gone, off to donnellys seat for new turbo, under warranty of course. took 3 weeks,
got it back everything going class, flying machine fryin tyres all over the shop complete rocket of a car....... 2 months later.........BANG! another turbo gone. within 8 months he had 4 turbos all under warranty luckily enough. then the car was stolen and written off in a bad way 7miles up the road. so we didnt get to see how many free turbos he could aquire through seat

195bhp from a 130bhp thats far too much for that engine, thats a 50% increase in power without changing any of the innards.
When i do the 130's i look at putting in a nice 155 - 160 bhp, basically roughly around 25% and it makes a really nice difference. Too much is GREAT (for about 5 mins) then bang, why bother becommming your turbo dealer / clutch centres best friend when you dont have too. 50% increase is DAFT 9imo :D

Thats been happening with the grande punto but its been said from other quarters that its been a bad batch of turbo's and thats the problem..personally i think their playing with fire mapping the car to that degree but they will find that out for themselves sooner rather than later when Mr.big bill lands right in their lap..
International man of mystery
Wit, sarcasm, you get it all from me..

40% can be pushing it too mate, 30% safe good safe and FUN limit. You can sometimes push this a little but it comes down to the engine type.
