    Question 1.4 Remap via AngelTuning

Looking into getting my 1.4 remapped shortly. Not because I want to go faster but more out of curiosity than anything. The speed and performance at the moment I find absolutely fine so this is just literally a curiosity purchase.

Anyone with a 1.4 had their's done? Notice any differences?

As its naturally aspirated I don't envisage much, if anything, in the way of a power increase - just wondered on the fuel consumption if that improved perhaps?

You'll have to excuse me if this has been asked before. I had done a search but to no avail (not unless I was having a blonde moment :)).

personally i wouldnt touch angel with a barge pole, much better to get a live remap on a rolling road, then you can see the gains rather than taking the opinion of someone else.

see thinking of modding already "im not modifying, like it as is, like the new car experience"

i only know of 1.4's with induction and remap, but they hit around 115-119bhp

I'm trying to resist the urge for modifying having done most mods on my 1.2 Bravo!

I'm confident that there will be some change with an AT remap, although I do appreciate and have read that bhp increase claims aren't necessarily accurate. Thats fine. In a round-about way I know of the director of AT and have been in discussions so I'm not expecting miracles.

Rather than saying no mods, how about no visible mods? :)

Looks like it'll be remapped in about 2 weeks time :)

Be interesting to see how it behaves after the remap!

Date is booked. 15th June :)

There's 2 of us getting a remap on the same site. Obviously there is myself but my work colleague wants his MkV Golf GTI remapped.

    Happy days :)

How can you tell the difference, do they illustrate it somehow for you? I know some places use those G-meter/performance meters.

Just wondered, a mate of mine had Angel recommended to him for his C4.
