Well, just about decided on a design for my induction as this incredibly rough Photoshop shows...

... 2x 45 degree pipe lengths linked with an anti-vibration coupler or silicone link with a twin cone metal gauze filter on the end. Perhaps with a heat shield round it.
Basically though I'm pondering where to put the cold air feed. I was going to have it attached to the air vent below the OS headlight BUT I've realised that it's a fake vent with no openness to it whatsoever. Now I think I have 2 options...1) Dremel an opening to have a bell mouth entry built into the fake vent with a mesh over the opening to prevent grit, etc going up it or 2) have the 57i arrangement where the intake pipe is dangling roughly where my undertray was, which seems a little dodgier.
Anyway, would be most grateful for opinions on this or whether there's another option![]()
