Re: Novitec Induction
I run the BMC on the 2.4 , its excellent and doesnt sound chavvy. Fitting is so easy, its almost like stock. The maf housing that connects to the old airbox unbolts and bolts straight to the top of the BMC filtr housing, run the intake hose from the dirty side, job done. Hardest part is unbolting everthing from the old system and dropping it out under the car.
If you arent in a rush just look out for them on ebay, doesnt have to be the stilo kit, just get the BMC CDA for engines above 1600cc, I paid £60 for mine, it was boxed in fairly good condition too.

Re: Novitec Induction
Oh right so any one will work then? Do you not need the MAF adapter like it says the Stilo 2.4 kit comes with? I'll have to keep my eye out for one on ebay then, sounds like the best option!

Re: Novitec Induction
Well yes, officially you need the adapted box lid. Depends how savvy you are with a dremel and stuff.
The maf housing will unbolt from the existing airbox, and if you do it right you can then remove the lip from the top of the CDA and bolt it to it and remount. if you have a look at where your current induction system meets the airbox you will see what I mean. You might need to put a gasket inbetween to make sure the seal is airtight.
Ill try and take a picture if I can, there isnt a lot of space with the big mutha engine in the way.
TBH I didnt notice that much difference - the next step for me is to replace the rest of the piperwork from throttle body to MAF, but want some sunshine for that.
