i heard it wasnt possible, but ive seen a thread on here about a 1.4 getting remapped.

if i went ahead and remapped my 1.6 how much BHP would i have gained ? lets say with a BMC CDA fitted as well ?

i mainly want this done because my mate is selling his corsa 1.2 sxi for a 1.4 pug quiksilver .

the 1.4 quiksilver is 8v and at 75bhp standard. he says he'll beat me in a race but im not too sure. who would win ?

not sure my 1.2 beat a quicksilver on many occasions. but that was over 8miles of B-Roads it was close but i was carrying more speed through the corners

then my 1.6 should terror him then surely. bare in mind he's getting this car just so he can defeat me in battle. i cant wait to see the look on his face when i beat him. selling a corsa for an ugly pug 106 is beyond reason. he says he's going for speed instead of style. but surely its better to lose in style then win and look ugly :D

he could beat you in a drag race. as the 1.4 8v is quicker through the gears and its a light car.
it just depends on the driver mate and how nuts you are.

hmm, he is a pretty slow driver tho, and i have faster reactions no doubt. so i think it will hinge on that. as long i beat him off the line ive won.
